I have had the extreme pleasure and fortune of Mary Jane being there to
take photos at my wedding, of my children, family photos and even diva photos. There is not one area Mary Jane excels at, but multiple! At all sessions Mary Jane was relaxed, fun, easy going, patient, creative, and professional.
She put us at ease right from the beginning and made us feel like we had all the time in the world. Her photos are beautiful and unique, they allow the group or individuals personality to shine through. She always has new ideas and fun poses. I am always so anxious to see the photos after a session, and I don't have to wait long! She is so quick to send a sneak peek, which is quickly followed by a web gallery and then a disk. I cant thank her enough for
all of the photos she has taken of our growing family, nor could I imagine anyone else being there to capture those precious moments.

We wanted to take a moment to thank you for traveling the road of Wyatts first year with us. We are not the kind of people who dress up to have a family portrait taken, but when we became parents we knew we had to have professional photos to mark his first year of life. You manage to get the most amazing shots, sometimes in as little as 20 minutes and even with a fussy child! You included our dog and made everyone comfortable. The last session at 18 months was done at your fabulous home studio. What a challenge with a toddler that does not stand still for more than 10 seconds at one time. Again, we were amazed at the quality and variety of photos you captured in a very short period. You provided downloads and then the final product very promptly.
You are friendly, relaxed and so family friendly. It is easy to tell you are passionate about what you are doing. There is no stress in getting ready for our pictures with you, we have enjoyed each session immensely. We have the most beautiful collection of pictures to remember the most amazing time in our life and are so pleased you have been a part of it. We cant thank you enough and will see you again soon!

Mary Jane was recommended to us as a photographer who takes beautiful portraits and she did not disappoint! Before I even met Mary Jane I was impressed, as she was so accommodating and understanding when I had to cancel our original session last minute due to illness. She was extremely patient working with our 14 month old daughter and captured her personality beautifully in her photos. Mary Jane had a great eye for setting up photos using the scenery around us and as a result, our family portraits are just as we had hoped for. In just an hour she took so many photos and it is hard to pick our favourites! We still love looking at all the photos from the CD she made us. We just wanted to take a moment to share how happy we are with the way our family photos turned out. Mary Jane was able to capture the autumn colors that we were hoping for. We have had Mary Jane do photos for us twice. I first contacted her to do some maternity shots. Mary Jane made me feel comfortable, and involved my hubby and kids in some of the shots. I was so pleased with the photos that once our baby was born, we wanted her to come back! She was very patient once again as we tried to line up all 4 kids, and took some fabulous shots of both our little baby as well as our family. She is professional, patient, and prompt in getting photos back to us. I would highly recommend her services (and have already!). Having her come to my house was another bonus as it made it much easier to do family shots we could take photos with them, then send them up to bed while doing the rest of the photo shoot.

I first saw one of Mary Janes photos in a coffee shop in Esquimalt. The pictures were not of infants or families but of nature, and they were stunning. I quickly asked the coffee shop owner if she knew whose photos they were and I was handed a card for Mary Jane. My husband and I checked out the site and put the card aside for later use. A month or so later, the timing was perfect to hire MJ. She beautifully captured our premature son at 4 weeks of age. These photos are such a treasure to us. She came to our house and was very patient and quiet as we set up the shots based on our tiny sons mood. The photos she took remind us how lucky we were/are to have a healthy, happy little boy.
