Last week we got back from our family adventure to France. Wow it was amazing.
But more importantly about two months before our trip our kiddo started to watch "The Miraculous, Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir," on Netflix. I couldn't believe how perfect the timing was. This show is based in Paris and the heroes are always having to save the Eiffel tower or the Mona Lisa or some other historic landmark. This show ended up opening her eyes to so much about Paris. When we got there, she was so excited to go to the Louvre. I was shocked! Thank you tv! LOL So of course I got her a Ladybug costume and we brought it with us. I was so excited that I wouldn't have to photoshop the Eiffel tower into her photos!
On our first day in Paris we went to the Louvre. When we left the museum and walked out towards the beautiful gardens, we couldn't believe our eyes...there was Ladybug. An actress was walking with a little girl and she waved our daughter over. I was so thrilled for my kiddo. I honestly couldn't have planned it better myself. She got to play tag and have a few photos with her. I've posted one below!
A few days later is when we did 'the photoshoot.' After doing a few shots we started to walk towards the carousel. This is when children started to recognize her. They would point and have huge smiles on their faces. These first little girls we ran into where just beaming. They truly believed our daughter was Ladybug! And of course, she was more than happy to pose for a picture with them.
We asked her if she wanted to take off her costume and she said, "No I want to walk through Paris and get more fans!" And so, she did. She turned heads on every corner and even road the Metro home in it! She nailed it!
