Today is family day here in Canada. I’ve struggled with the words to go with these photos as I could write and write and write but yet the photos speak for themselves. I am so proud of my friend for deciding to become a surrogate. It really does take a special kind of person to give up their body for 9 months to grow a baby for another family. To go through everything pregnancy has to offer. (Cause sometimes it’s not easy) To be completely selfless for other human beings. This is a world I want to be part of. This is a world I want my daughter to know.
Today whether you are celebrating with your partner, your dog, your cat or your goldfish, a child you adopted or are fostering. Or awaiting the arrival of your baby that has been grown by another person.
Family is family. Love is love is love is love is love...
