I haven't posted these images yet because just like their maternity session I had a hard time coming up with what to say. I feel truly honoured and so happy I was able to photograph this special long awaited little man. He has no idea how much he is loved. The wonderful surrogate momma referred to her new family as her 'stitched' together family and I think that is perfect. They all came together from different parts of the world to create this special little miracle.
I know this new family will be connected forever. We didn't have her son in the maternity photos but we wanted to make sure he was part of the newborn session. He was just smitten with this little baby. He was beside his mom for the last 9 months watching this baby grown. He too is a special little human...to love this baby and be able to say see you later takes a special kind of heart. DNA might not run through their blood but this family is family through and through.
